About Dr. Strinden
Tom Strinden received his M.D. degree from University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, ND, in 1988. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and has had an eye surgical practice in Fargo since 1995.
Dr. Strinden has performed over 15,000 major eye surgeries. He began performing LASIK in 1998 and implanting multifocal implants in 1999.
Dr. Strinden’s practice emphasis is refractive and cataract surgery but he also offers a range of services related to general ophthalmology. He is an associate clinical professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. He does a yearly medical mission trip to Honduras.
He and his wife, Michelle, have four children and reside in Fargo. He is active in his church and enjoys outdoor activities with his kids such as hunting and fishing. He also serves on the FCA hockey National Board.
